ADULT'S CLASSES

Our ADULT CLASSES are open to ages 13 and older. The curriculum emphasizes self-defense techniques, kicks, punches, blocks and proper rolling and falling techniques. Special attention is given to explaining the principles of motion employed in HapKiDo self-defense techniques. Since adult classes are designed to help increase cardiovascular endurance, HapKiDo is a great way to lose weight and improve muscle tone. HapKiDo is outstandingly suited for self-defense and can be learned by both men and women, regardless of age, size and physical ability.


Here are some of the things you will learn while training at United HapKiDo of Liberty:

Basic Techniques - empty hand vs. empty hand, empty hand vs. weapon, weapon vs. weapon.

Kicks- complete arsenal of kicks during your training, ranging from beginner to advanced.

Self-Defense Techniques - defend against such things as punches, kicks, grabs, headlocks, grappling, and much more.

Weapons Techniques - pressure point manipilation using: the HapKiDo cane, short-stick (Danbong), and a variety of other advanced techniques.

Seminars - opportunity to attend seminars exposing you to HapKiDo skills such as stick-fighting, military techniques, and much more.

You do not need to be strong and muscular to effectively defend yourself.

When training is fun and exciting, everybody wants to learn.
