United HapKiDo of Liberty is a proud member of the United States Korean Martial Arts Federation (USKMAF).

Grandmaster J.R. West, president of the Federation holds an 8th degree black belt in the art of HapKiDo and has over 30 years of teaching experience.

The roots of the USKMAF date back to the 1970's when several American instructors in the Southeastern United States joined forces to increase the amount of knowledge available to their students. These instructors set a new, higher standard for the average student to attain.
